Located one hour from Brest in Camaret-sur-Mer, on the Crozon Peninsula, the Pointe de Pen-Hir is one of Brittany's most iconic natural landmarks.

From its cliffs, it towers over the Iroise Sea and offers a spectacular panorama of the Atlantic Ocean.

On a clear day, you can spot the Pointe du Raz, the Pointe de Beuzec, and the Bay of Douarnenez.

Discover one of Finistère's most beautiful landscapes

The Pen-Hir cliffs: a must-see natural setting

The Pen-Hir cliffs rise to a height of 70 meters, plunging dramatically into the Iroise Sea.

This is also a popular spot for rock climbing enthusiasts to scale the sandstone faces.

You can also admire the famous "Tas de Pois" (Heaps of Peas) a spectacular cluster of rock formations sculpted by erosion.

An ideal walk along the GR®34

Part of the Armorique Regional Natural Park, the Pointe de Pen-Hir is traversed by the famous GR®34, also known as the "Customs Officers' Path" (Sentier des Douaniers).

This trail runs along the cliffs, offering numerous viewpoints of the Breton coast and opportunities to observe various species of seabirds.

Accessible to most walkers, this route is perfect for discovering the peninsula's natural richness.

Be sure to wear suitable footwear, as the path can be exposed to wind and sea spray.

A site steeped in history

Make the most of your visit by admiring the Monument to the Bretons of Free France, better known as the Pen-Hir Cross.

Erected in tribute to the Breton Resistance fighters of World War II, it was inaugurated by General de Gaulle himself.
